Salary Range: $50,000-$60,000
About Sinai Learning Lab:
Sinai Learning Lab is an innovative Jewish micro-school dedicated to providing 1st-3rd grade students with a personalized, multi-age educational experience. Rooted in the principles of expressive learning, skill mastery, and problem-based inquiry, our program seeks to ignite curiosity and foster lifelong learning.
Role Overview:
The Lead Teacher at Sinai Learning Lab will be instrumental in bringing our innovative vision to life. This role involves crafting and leading a personalized, multi-age educational experience rooted in expressive learning, skill mastery, and problem-based inquiry. The Lead Teacher will develop and deliver a dynamic, student-centered curriculum that sparks curiosity, nurtures critical thinking, and encourages collaboration. With a strong commitment to Jewish values and traditions, the ideal candidate will create a supportive and inspiring environment where each child’s unique potential is recognized and celebrated.
Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development and Implementation: Design and facilitate problem-based learning experiences that engage students in real-world challenges and promote critical thinking and creativity.

Classroom Leadership: Lead a multi-age classroom environment that supports individual growth, skill mastery, and collaborative problem-solving.

Jewish Education Integration: Infuse Jewish values, holidays, and traditions into daily learning experiences in meaningful and innovative ways.

Student Assessment: Utilize formative and summative assessments to track student progress and tailor instruction to meet individual and group needs.

Family Engagement: Build strong relationships with families, communicating regularly about student progress, classroom activities, and program updates.

Collaboration: Partner with other educators and staff to create a cohesive, enriched learning experience that reflects the Sinai Learning Lab’s vision.

Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and reflective practices to remain at the forefront of educational and Jewish learning methodologies.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Jewish Studies, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in a multi-age or problem-based learning environment.

Strong understanding of child development and personalized learning.

Experience with various educational models including Montessori, Reggio and Acton.

Experience integrating Jewish values and traditions into an educational curriculum.

Proficiency with technological tools

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Passion for innovative education and a commitment to fostering problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
